please be with me as always is all when all else fails

waiting for painting above to proceed
thinking of how to paint the exercise

n.7 working diligently or not being allowed to
here God chose the colour red symbolising love, often, perhaps indicating no time can be wasted providing there is love
because love conquers time
though this may not be clear in one lifetime, perhaps that is why Petrarch did not make that connection in his poem of the Triumphs
these colours are so strong, they will likely be mixed on this occasion, red and green often makes a very dark colour, black or brown, but neutral, strange, symbolizing love and joy combined
some work that is so easy today used to be very difficult, over lifetimes of diligent work they have become easier
the work that was done with love
for example, at the V&A was a Constable sketch/painting called The Leaping Horse – “local Suffolk barge horses were specially trained to jump over three feet high barriers erected along the tow path in order to keep cattle from straying… the horse (in the painting) is in fact leaping over a crossing which takes the horse and rider from Essex into his native Suffolk” https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/art-artists/work-of-art/the-leaping-horse
now there are motorways
love conquers time

n.4 your loving light shines out through all your guides
this will need to be spaces kept white to shine out
so effectively negative spaces being made positive
like not being able to work not being as it appears
but being a light in some way
understood in its own time or not

n.3 Raw Umber is a murky dark yellow
reminds me of the fact that no matter how bright a truth may appear to shine at one time it is likely to be shown as incomplete if not erroneous in the future
all part of life’s rich tapestry
